Christ’s Haven For Children is pleased to announce David Isom was recently named to its Board of Directors. Isom is currently assistant vice president of Labor Relations at BNSF Railway, where he has served in a variety of roles since 1999.
“I’ve volunteered with many organizations before, but Christ’s Haven resonated with me deeply. I could not have felt more joy when asked to serve on the Board, and I look forward to being able to add value to this important mission,” Isom said.
Christ’s Haven For Children is a 501c3 located in Keller with a trauma-informed, family-based model of care encouraging children and teens to heal from their past and envision and embrace a bright future.
Isom is a Fort Worth resident with his wife, Sondra, and daughters, Brittani and Taylor. He is also a board member of the American Heart Association and member and volunteer at Fellowship Of The Parks Church.
“David brings years of corporate experience and fresh ideas to our organization. He is thoughtful and analytical in his approach to problem solving. But most importantly, he brings an extraordinary heart and passion for the population we serve,” said Cassie McQuitty, Christ’s Haven’s CEO.
Isom received his bachelor’s degree in business management from National-Louis University and his master’s degree in business from Texas Christian University. He is an avid sports junkie who loves all the Dallas teams but still prefers to play himself as a weekend warrior.
