The Life Path Program exists to provide a platform that ensures a successful life launch of at-risk young adults. The program is designed in two distinct phases.

Phase One is accomplished in tandem with a high school education. Students progress through 11 Life Skills Modules before graduating from this phase of the program. Thursday night Life Path Module Classes, which begin in the fall and run through the spring semester, serve to establish a structured “teaching” platform to present the Life Skills Modules listed below:

  • Health
  • General Safety & Fire Safety
  • Money Management
  • Transportation
  • Community Access
  • Basic Life Management Skills
  • Employment
  • Spirituality
  • Emotional Well-being
  • Dreams & Destiny
  • College / Vocational Training

Upon completion of each module, students take a content mastery assessment.

Phase Two provides the opportunity for supported young adults to apply these Life Skills. After High School graduation, students move from their cottage homes to the Life Path Transition Duplex for a period of up to 5 years. During this time, their practice and mastery of these Life Skills is observed, nurtured, and mentored. A successful life launch is marked by a young adult’s confidence and ability to live independently, as they take responsibility for their own lives.
