In the fall of 2008, Christ’s Haven for Children expanded our cattle and horse program to develop Haven’s Horses. Christ’s Haven began offering Riding Classes and Summer Horse Day Camp to the local community.
In 2009, Haven’s Horses became a member of the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA), and began therapeutic riding classes for disabled children that dream of riding a horse.
It is our mission at Haven’s Horses to offer horsemanship classes while sharing the love and hope of Jesus Christ with children. We use a relationship with a horse to learn more about our relationship with God and what the Bible says about the basics of life. Haven’s Horses offers the following programs:
- Christian Horsemanship Classes
- Summer Horse Day Camp
- Therapeutic Riding for Disabled Students
- Physical Therapy on Horseback
- Equine Assisted Learning for Groups
