Christ’s Haven for Children is dedicated to improving the lives and relationships of children and their families. Sometimes circumstances can cause frustration and lead to feelings of anger, depression, and general anxiety. We specialize in providing Christian based counseling that can help create healing and the ability to cope with life’s uncertainty. Christ’s Haven for Children provides counseling services for children and families in the community on a sliding fee scale based on the family’s income and number of dependents.

About our Counselor
Counseling services are provided by Mary Lauren Taylor under the supervision of Dr. Sean Stokes. Mary Lauren completed her Masters in Professional Counseling at Texas Wesleyan University and is certified as a Licensed Professional Counselor Intern and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate.
She has extensive knowledge in working with abused and neglected children and adolescents as well as providing family and substance abuse counseling.
