Social Services

The Children's Services program is designed to meet the basic care needs of children both in residential placement and foster care. We accept referrals for children ages 0 - 17 years, who are privately placed into our care by their legal guardian.

Children's Services places a great emphasis on meeting the individual goals and needs of each child. We individualize all case plans, and ensure the uniqueness  of each child is valued and respected. Our goal is to assist children and their families to feel successful about their placement.

Children are placed in one of our cottages and live with up to seven other children. A married couple, whose primary role is to provide the daily structure, discipline, and  counsel to the children in their care, staffs the cottages. For information about placing a child into care, contact marylauren@christshaven.org or complete an application and return it to us.

To get an application, follow these steps:

1. Contact us by phone.
   Call Christ's Haven at (817) 431-1544 between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Ask to speak to Amy Booker or Mary Lauren Taylor in Children's Services. They will give you a password. You must use this password to print an application.
   
   
2. Download the Application
   After you get your password, Click here to go to the application forms for 5 & Up, and here for the forms for Under 5.
   
   
3. Enter your password
   Once you open the PDF document, you will be asked to enter the password provided to you by Amy Booker or Mary Lauren Taylor from Children's Services.
   
   
4. Print the Application
   You will then be able to print the Campus Care application or the Foster Care  application.
   
   
5. Return
   Complete the application and return it to us by standard mail or by fax.
