Foster Care

Christ's Haven for Children places pre-school children with foster families in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex region. Foster families provide predictability, routine, love, and health-care to children whose families are experiencing challenges.

The foster families work to maintain and strengthen, not replace, the biological family relationships of the child in their care. Along with a caseworker, they temporarily provide substitute family-like experiences and other necessary services for children. They also help children prepare to re-enter their own families.

Christ's Haven licenses the homes and individuals providing foster care through our Child Placing Agency license. We employ a caseworker and a Level One child-placing staff member to support our foster families.

We are currently seeking Christian married couples in the DFW area eager to care for children in their home that are from birth up to 5 years old. Those interested please contact Amy Booker at amyb@christshaven.org for more information.
